Q. What is your turnaround time?

A. Usually around 7-10 working days.

Q. What is the best file format to use?

A. Most digital cameras produce JPG images and we recommend you select the largest file size to capture the most detail for best results.

Q. What resolution do I need?

A. Don't worry about the resolution, our on-line quality checker will highlight any resolution issues if they arise and will not allow you to place an order if there is not enough resolution.

Q. What is the maximum size file you can accept?

A. Via our website its 10Mb. The average file size we receive is 2-5Mb. Small prints can be made from anything down to about 0.5Mb. Our on-line quality checker will automatically work out the print resolution so you can see if your file is suitable before you buy.

Q. Does file size affect print quality?

A. Usually but not necessarily, it depends on the amount of fine detail in the image. Images with lots of plain areas e.g. white, have compression built in which optimises the size of the image making the file size smaller without compromising quality.

Q. What colour profiles do you recommend?

A. We recommend Adobe RGB (1998).
